Planning
All planning applications (including prior approval and permitted development applications) have to be considered for potential contamination issues to ensure compliance the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). On any site where there is a potential for contamination to influence the site the Planning Officer will consult the Land Quality Department. The Guide for Developers provides information to help applicants meet planning requirements.
