The Hounslow Wellbeing Network (HWN) is a social network that connects people, organisations and services to help reduce stigma and mental illness. The aim of the Wellbeing Network is to combat social isolation, loneliness, depression, and anxiety and to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
The Hounslow Wellbeing Network welcomes those who are experiencing difficult times and who are on a journey of personal recovery. Many people who are experiencing difficulties with physical or mental health find that a supportive and social environment has a positive effect and helps them to develop their social network.
The Hounslow Wellbeing Network is co-produced and co-designed by Hounslow residents, and is made up of local people, friends, families, carers and professionals living and working in the borough.
What they offer
The Wellbeing Network offers information and resources on local events and support networks, as well as places and ways for people to connect and get involved in their local community. Activities include a range of social, physical and creative classes such as coffee mornings, beginners fitness classes, feel good films, weekly walks and more!
