About Hounslow Talking Therapies
Hounslow Talking Therapies (formerly Improving Access to Psychological Therapies or IAPT) is a free talking therapy service for people over 18 who live, study or have a GP in the London Borough of Hounslow.
The service can help you with common mental health problems like stress, anxiety and depression. It could be that you are feeling low, having trouble sleeping, or are feeling overwhelmed with worries.

You can access therapy in different ways. It can be face-to-face, in groups, over the phone or by video chat on your mobile, tablet or computer.
Self-help resources
The service offers a range of self-help leaflets on a wide range of topics including bereavement, alcohol misuse, controlling anger and sleeping problems. Each leaflet may be downloaded as a PDF or an audio file or viewed in British Sign Language. Most of our resources are also translated into number of different languages. How to access this service?
You should be over 18 and be registered with a Hounslow GP or live in the borough of Hounslow.
Your GP, social worker, employment advisor or any other professional may refer you.
Alternatively, can refer yourself by telephone, email of by completing the online form.
