Creating a Greener, Stronger Heston
Heston in the loop has transformed our community. Its more then an initiative - It’s a movement powered by our community to create a sustainable, thriving future. By embracing repairing, sharing, reducing consumption and local empowerment, we’re proving that small actions can create big changes.
Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:
- Shared/rented 5,300 items
including 3,400kg of food redistributed to those in need.
- Engaged 5,000+ residents
In addition to 7 schools, 45 business and 13 community groups, supporting activities such as gardening sessions, refill shops, repair workshops/events, swap shops, and recycling hard to recycle materials.
- Hosted 87 events
Teaching repair skills, encouraging resourcefulness, and inspiring sustainable living.
Testimonies
“Heston in the Loop has such a positive impact in Heston and for the environment we live in. I will use the branded cup and hoodie with pride and promote the great work the Heston in the loop do”.
This is your invitation to continue being part of the evolution. Together, we can reduce waste, upskill our neighbours, and create a community we’re all proud to call home. Let’s make Heston a shining example of what’s possible when we work together for a better and greener future.
