The Virtual College provides educational support service for children with care experience and those with a social worker. We are the local authority champion, bringing about improvements in the education and outcomes of all vulnerable children with care experience including:
- Looked after Children (LAC)
- Care Leavers (CLs)
- Previously looked after children (PLAC)
- Children with a social worker (CWSW)
We promote their educational progress and achievement as if they were in a single school and include a field force of skilled educational specialists, supported by those with youth work skills to support children and young people.
Additionally, we provide support and training for schools, colleges and employers who support our children and young people.
