This year the company has partnered with various youth organisations to offer two 9-month work placements in the Finance Team. It plans to expand the programme with more job offerings from its business units by the end of next year.
We spoke with JC Decaux's Talent Attraction Manager Jenny Pusey at the Work Hounslow Fair to learn more.
Some young people may lack the skills and work experience when they apply for jobs but Jenny believes it is more important for young people to have the right mindset for employment.
"We are looking to hire young people who want to learn and grow in their job positions. They often have great ideas. They can bring in new thinking and challenge current practises. In view of the evolving market landscape, young people are vital for our business to stay competitive."
