Our Waste Wizard tool allows you to find out what to do with an item you want to dispose of. We want to encourage more people in Hounslow to reduce the amount of waste they produce by reusing and recycling more. Waste Wizard will help you find out how you can repair, recycle or reuse your old items for the benefit of the whole community.
To get started, all you need to do is type your postcode into the bar below. After this, you will be asked to type in the name of the waste item you want to dispose of (eg mattress, electricals, glass bottle) and we will tell you the best way to recycle, repair, reuse or dispose of it.
You can also download Hounslow Council’s Waste Wizard as app for your phone, so you can find out how to best dispose of you waste on the go. Available for android and IOS devices. Go to the App Store and search for: LB Hounslow Waste Wizard.
