Let's scrap fly-tipping statistics

Fly-tipping in Hounslow by numbers:

During 2021, there were 24,210 fly tipping incidents on the public highway reported to Hounslow Highways, which included 63,343 bags of rubbish dumped on our streets.
This is estimated to have cost Hounslow tax-payers more than £1.3 million to remove.
During this time, we also received an additional 1,887 reports of fly-tipping on private land in the borough.
In 2021, Hounslow Council issued 699 Fixed Penalty Notices for fly tipping on both public and private land.
In 2021 we also issued 6,281 FPNs for littering offences.
