Urban Context and Character Study
Hounslow’s Urban Context and Character Study is a survey, description and analysis of the borough in terms of context ‐ what's there ‐ and character ‐ what it's like ‐ according to established urban design principles. It is a valuable aid to understanding how places could develop in the future and it enhances our ability to safeguard distinctiveness when making planning decisions.

Feltham Masterplan
The Feltham Masterplan is intended to update and develop an earlier Vision and Concept Masterplan for Feltham (published in 2015).
The document has taken into consideration Feltham’s Housing Zone status, which was designated in March 2016 by the Mayor of London to bring accelerated housing development to the area. Investment in the area from the GLA’s Housing Zone funding will enable the council o act as facilitator to lead and maximise the development potential of the area.

West of Borough Capacity Study
The West of Borough Capacity Study sets out a possible vision for the West of Borough and presents initial concept and capacity studies for four strategic sites. It presents options that will inform the new plan making process for the Council’s Local Plan Review for the West of Borough.
These four strategic areas covered by the document include Feltham, Hatton Cross, Bedfont and Cranford and Heston.
Great West Corridor Masterplan and Capacity Study
The Great West Corridor Masterplan and Capacity Study establishes a bold new vision and plan for the transformation of the area into a 21st century business hub that is supported by a high quality environment, sustainable transport solutions, a vibrant mix of uses, good integration with its surrounding communities, and a strong image and identity. It aims to coordinate new development to maximise benefits for the Borough and London as a whole.
The study presents options that will inform the new plan making process for the Council’s Local Plan Review for the Great West Corridor. The Regulations 18 draft of this Local Plan Review was out for public consultation in November and December. Consultation closed on 10 December 2019.
