Council Tax bands and valuation
We set Council Tax annually. It is paid by the residents in the London Borough of Hounslow to help pay for the authority’s many services, including schools, libraries, social services and also the police and fire brigade.
Banding process
Most homes are subject to Council Tax. There is one bill per home, whether it is a house, bungalow, flat, maisonette, mobile home or houseboat, and whether it is owned or rented.
