Congratulations!
You have switched to paperless billing for Council Tax. You don’t need to do anything more.
Please remember that if there are other liable parties named on the council tax bill, they will not receive a separate notification unless they have also registered to manage their council tax account online.
When your next council tax bill is due, you will be sent a notification by email which will contain details of how to log into your account and view your bill.
To log in and access your account you will be asked several authentication questions which may include the
- post code of the liable property,
- the last three digits of the bank account number we hold for you, if you pay by Direct Debit
- the last three digits of a telephone number that you have provided to us, or
- the online key, which we will send to you in the email letting you know that a new bill is available.
Should you need to view your bill or print off a copy and you have not been sent an email, you can find your online key on the last paper bill you were sent.
To manage your account, you will need visit Council Tax and benefits webpage and click 'View your Council Tax online' button and register or sign up.
