When will public halls reopen? we have a regular prayer group /meeting and would like to get back to holding these.
We are planning on reopening our public halls as soon as possible, once government restrictions have been lifted. This won’t be until at least December based on the latest government advice. During this time of further closure we will be carrying out our cleaning and maintenance programme and our risk assessments. We will let all regular users know as soon as they are to reopen.

The council is making contact with all its regular hirers including the nurseries, to discuss their hire needs and requirements and plans are being made with them directly. If you have not heard from us and have specific questions about your hire please do email
What will the capacity / guidelines be for using the public hall?
The guidelines for reopening our public halls will be those set out by the government to ensure they are covid-secure. We will also carry out our own health and safety risk assessments to make sure we are satisfied that they are safe to use. This will include details of how many people will be able to use the public hall facilities at any one time
