Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
Hounslow has transformed its Mental Health Care Service and are working towards a model of social work based on the college of social work paper entitled ‘The role of the Mental Health Social worker.’ At the heart of this transformation is improving outcomes for vulnerable adults by enabling them to take more control over their lives and live more independently in their own homes.
As part of this transformation and the creation of two new Mental Health Social Work Teams, we are now looking for Social Workers and Deputy Team Managers to further develop this exciting new approach.
You should hold a Social Work qualification – CQSW, DIPSW or BA in Social Work and be a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
You will also need to demonstrate experience of working with the specific client group.
