Safeguarding and quality assurance - (safeguarding adults)
The Safeguarding Adults Service works under the direction of Hounslow’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Board, providing guidance and support to a range of professionals and/ or residents and co-ordinates safeguarding adults enquiries and Deprivation of Liberty (DoLS) authorisations for this large and diverse borough. You will be supported to develop your professional expertise in this exciting and challenging area of work, whilst working in partnership with a range of agencies across all adult service user groups.
- You should hold a Social Work qualification – CQSW, DIPSW or BA in Social Work and be a qualified DoLS Best Interest Assessor or be willing & eligible to undertake BIA training.
- You should have extensive post-qualifying experience of acting as an Enquiry Officer of Safeguarding Adults Manager in adult Safeguarding enquiries.
- You will also need to demonstrate experience of working with the specific client group.
