Make the healthier choice and choose a food outlet which is signed up to Healthier Catering Commitment (HCC). The HCC is London-wide voluntary scheme encouraging food outlets to make simple changes to how food is prepared, cooked and served, and to promote and encourage customers to choose healthier options.

Do you run a food business?
Make some simple changes to your menu, highlight the healthier options, and sign up for the Healthier Catering Commitment. We'll support you all the way to help your business get noticed and attract and retain new customers.
You’ll be provided with:
- A free place on the online Level 2 Food Safety Training course run by NCASS (The Nationwide Caterers Association)
- Promotion by listing your business on this page and on the London Healthier Catering Commitment website
- A window sticker.
To be eligible for the scheme your business must have a minimum of a 3 Food Hygiene Rating Score.
A minimum of 8 criteria from a list of 22 must be met. Check our assessment form to see if you meet the requirements of the scheme. The award will last 2 years after which you can renew your commitment.

How to apply
Once you are ready to apply for the scheme, download and complete the assessment form and return it by emailing the form to the Healthier Catering Commitment team.
