EU Referendum results June 2016
On Thursday 23 June 2016 there was a referendum on the United Kingdom's membership of the European Union (EU).
For this referendum the question was:
Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
The total number of ballot papers counted was 115,208
The total number of votes cast in favour of REMAIN was 58,755 (51%)
The total number of votes cast in favour of LEAVE was 56,321
Please note: that the count for each ward includes postal votes, which aren't specific to any ward.
