Councillors Code of Conduct
The Councillors' (or members') Code of Conduct is something that all councillors must agree to abide by.
The code includes general obligations such as treating others with respect, promoting equality and not doing anything which might compromise the impartiality of anyone who works for the council.
The code also defines and sets out the interests that a councillor must declare as well as guidance on declaring gifts and hospitality received.
You can find a copy of the code within the Council's Constitution.
