Hounslow Baby Feeding Strategic Plan 2024-2027 The Hounslow Baby Feeding Strategic Plan 24-27 details how the objectives and aims of the strategy will be achieved by stakeholders and partner organisations to increase the breastfeeding rate in Hounslow. Breastfeeding is a 'super' public health intervention that, if well supported and sustained for the recommended time, results in significant life-long improvement of health outcomes for mum and baby. Improving the breastfeeding rate would also reduce health inequalities, pressure on NHS services, and environmental impact. As the correct implementation of the strategic plan would be so impactful to our residents, we are seeking cabinet support on the adoption of the plan to ensure it is embedded in all relevant council work. |
