Christmas and New Year opening hours for Hounslow Libraries
Hounslow Libraries will be operating normal opening hours up to and including Christmas Eve.
All branches will be closed on the following days:
- Christmas Day (25 December)
- Boxing Day (26 December)
- New Year's Eve (31 December)
- New Year's Day (1 January)
Hounslow central branch will be closed from 5.30pm on Tuesday 24 December, until 9.30am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
For other branches, normal opening hours will apply between 27 and 31 December, with the following exceptions:
- There will be no late-night opening on Monday 30th December - libraries which normally open until 8pm will be closing at 5.30pm.
- Hanworth and Isleworth libraries will close at 4.00pm on Saturday 28 and Tuesday 31 December, in line with the opening hours of Hounslow Leisure Centres. Please note, these hours may be subject to change.
Normal opening hours will resume for all libraries from Tuesday 2 January 2024.
