Capital projects and delivery
We provide a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary building design and project management service for the council’s corporate property portfolio which also includes its schools.
The team manage projects from start to end including contract and financial management. Projects range from minor maintenance, refurbishments and extensions to new builds and major redevelopments as well as specialist projects such as development of playgrounds.
In addition, the team carries out building surveys, feasibility studies and provides professional advice on building and construction matters.

- Ongoing delivery of £3m pa Schools Maintenance Programme of major works
- Delivery of £238m Schools Expansion Programme providing
- Bulge classrooms in existing schools
- Remodelling, extensions and complete new teaching blocks to existing schools
- Construction of 3 new schools including SEN and enabling development for 294 homes
- Facilitating development of Free Schools across the borough on Council owned land
- Development of 2-Year-Old centres within existing schools, community buildings as well as new builds
- Facilitating works on behalf of Heathrow Airport to install ventilation systems to schools under the noisiest flight paths
- Design and delivery of a new Rugby Club and pitches for Grasshoppers
