Calculating monthly rates
To calculate the monthly rate, the weekly figure is multiplied by 52, then divided by 12.
For example, to calculate the monthly Local Housing Allowance for a household fulfilling the criteria for two bedrooms in the Outer West London area.
- £299.18 x 52 = £15,557.36 per year
- £15,557.36 / 12 = £1,296.45 per calendar month
