BorrowBox e-audio and e-books
You can browse the digital library without being a member, but if you wish to download an item you will need to join your local library. How to join Hounslow libraries.
When you are a library member you can download e-books and e-audio by following these steps:
- Go to: https://hounslow.borrowbox.com/
- Log in using your library card number and password / pin (you will need to create your BorrowBox account the first time you do this)
- Browse the collection to select an item
- Borrow button (if you are not signed in, you will be asked to do so)
- Confirm your loan
- The item is now ready to download, either to your PC or mobile device
For smartphones and tablets you can download the BorrowBox app from the:
- Apple App Store - not available
- Google Play Store for Android
- Kindle Fire
Search for ‘Hounslow’ when prompted to enter your library; the app will then ask for your library card number and password / pin.
You can borrow 10 items at a time. Each item is loaned for 3 weeks.
