Activities at Bristol Court

“Stay Fit and Stay Healthy in Hounslow” offers free activities for residents within the London Borough of Hounslow. Join us at Bristol Court. Our program includes a range of activities like arts and crafts, technology support, exercise sessions, music therapy, and more. It’s not just about the activities – we’ve designed for participants to have opportunities to socialise, interact and create new friendships.

Science Explorers: Science Explorers: Sparking Curiosity and Innovation Through Hands-On
Learning

Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure at Bristol Court! These action-packed sessions provide practical, interactive experiences designed to ignite curiosity and cultivate a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Participants will dive into a variety of hands-on activities, from constructing simple machines and exploring robotics to creating renewable energy models and learning to code. Each 1-hour session is crafted to be fun, educational, and accessible to everyone, offering a supportive environment where all can thrive. The program will culminate in a showcase event where participants can proudly share their projects and celebrate their achievements. All levels are welcome.

With over 10 years of experience of practicing Yoga Fiorella completed her training in 2018 as a Yoga teacher.

Fiorella believes that Yoga can not only bring such positivity to one’s lives, but it can also bring awareness to the body

and breath. Yoga has also been known to uplift spirits, build strength as well as flexibility. Her sessions are a combination of creative sequencing which will help you to build strength and flexibility in an engaging, enjoyable, and mindful space. HOT visit

The Hounslow Health Outreach Team (HOT) is a community-based service that provides residents with information on local health and wellbeing support services.

The HOT Team is there to guide you through the health system, and help you find the right services for your health needs. They also offer FREE:

  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Weight Checks
  • C02 Checks

Advice on health concerns, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, dementia, falls prevention, mental health support plus many more services. Come and join us on the day to take advantage of these brilliant free services.

Rise Activity Session

Our upcoming Rise sessions are designed to boost confidence and enhance mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.

Each Rise session will kick off with a fun aerobics-style warm-up, followed by seated sports drills like hockey passing and shooting. We’ll also include themed quizzes where teams can earn extra points, all leading up to an exciting final match for the chance to win the coveted Rise trophy!

Changing Suits Activity Session

Come and join Changing suits which is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering South Asian and ethnic diverse communities by weaving personal stories into the fabric of support and breaking down cultural and social barriers. Changing Suits will be delivering mindfulness sessions giving individuals an opportunity to engage in relaxation tools.

Sound session using meditative instruments:  instruments being played to enhance an individual's experience of stillness and peace. 10.30am-11.30am January 17
Basic Breathing Techniques: Guided breathing techniques by facilitator for individuals to slow down, recognize the importance of their breath. Allowing an individual to be mindful and grateful and in present moment. 10.30am-11.30am February 7

Tapping: Also known as Emotional Freedom Therapy. This is a simple technique used to regulate emotions, improve sleep and overall well-being. Individuals will be shown how to tap 9 energy points on the body just by using their own hands.

For health and safety reasons, please refrain from entering the building until 10 minutes before your session starts.

Attendees arriving later than 10 minutes to a session may be refused entry. 
If you have booked a session but no longer wish to attend, please inform the tutor to allow someone else to attend in your place. 

Abuse towards staff will not be tolerated. Individuals engaging in such behavior may be asked to leave and may not be allowed to participate in future activities.
