Every two years we publish a report describing energy conservation measures that we consider practical, cost-effective and likely to result in significant improvement in the energy efficiency of residential accommodation in Hounslow.
This is a requirement of the Home Energy Conservation Act (HECA) 1995. The Act recognises local authorities' ability to use their position to improve the energy efficiency of all residential accommodation in their areas. This includes owner-occupied and privately rented and social housing.
