Behaviour refers to the way a child or young person conducts themselves. It is their actions, reactions and functioning in response to their everyday environments and situations. Challenging behaviour may impact on a child or young person’s daily life and may seriously affect both the child and their parent’s quality of life that can lead to social isolation.
In this section you can find materials which may help you to support parents who may be having difficulties in managing their child’s behaviour. You may also be able to sign post parents and carers to some of the materials.
