Grass cutting and bins
During the growing season, (March to October), grass will be cut on a 3-weekly cycle in each Cemetery, subject to weather conditions. We are unable to maintain lawn-like conditions. Grass cuttings will not be collected.
There are a few designated areas left uncut across our Cemeteries to promote biodiversity and to benefit wildlife.
Rubbish bins
Spent flowers and other rubbish must be put in the bins provided for this purpose. Bins are provided for Cemeteries waste only. Fly-tippers will be prosecuted.
The bins are emptied twice a week in each cemetery.
