Child Burial

Child burials in private graves are available at the following cemeteries:

Bedfont cemetery, Borough cemetery, Chiswick New cemetery, Hounslow cemetery, Hatton cemetery

Dedicated child section is only located within the Muslim section at the Hatton cemetery

When considering your options, you may want to think of a family grave in the main area of the cemetery with the intention of using the family grave for future burials

Support for Child Funeral Costs (Children's Funeral Fund for England)

The Children's Funeral Fund for England can help to pay for some of the costs of a funeral for a child under 18 or a baby stillborn after the 24th week of pregnancy.

It is not means-tested; what you earn or how much you have in savings will not affect what you get, however, the burial or cremation must take place in England. For further information with what the fund covers, please refer to Children's Funeral Fund for England
