The Community Voices Forum (CVF) is an upcoming council-led network designed for locality-based community organisations in Hounslow.
It provides a structured platform for grassroots groups to communicate directly with the Council, ensuring that residents' concerns are heard and council updates are effectively shared. The Forum fosters collaboration, helps resolve collective issues, and supports community development by connecting local organisations with the Council and each other. Each meeting is organised around a particular theme and are organised on a quarterly basis.
Each organisation can send up to two representatives to the forum. Types of locality based organisations that can participate in the CVF include:
- Small local charities and CIOs serving local residents
- Community parks and gardens
- Residents' associations
- Tenants' associations
- Environmental action groups
- Community centres
- Street associations
- Cycling or walking groups
- Arts and culture groups
- Sports clubs
- Age-friendly forums
- Food banks or pantries
- Conservation groups

Individual residents
While the CVF focuses on group-level engagement, individual residents can get involved through Area Forums and the Let’s Talk Hounslow platform. These channels offer opportunities for all residents to participate in discussions, provide feedback, and stay informed about local initiatives and decisions.
