Hounslow is proud to be one of the greenest boroughs in London, with over 160 parks and open spaces managed by our Parks team and Lampton Services Greenspace. We work closely with local groups and charities to keep improving these spaces and make sure they are welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

Net-Zero Hub
In 2019, Hounslow Council declared a Climate Emergency, committing to making the borough greener, cleaner, and healthier. The following year, the Climate Emergency Action Plan was introduced, outlining over 100 actions aimed at achieving net-zero carbon by 2030. This plan includes key initiatives like improving energy efficiency in council buildings, transitioning to electric vehicles, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable travel. The Council is also working with businesses, schools, and the wider community to reduce carbon emissions across Hounslow and support the shift to a more sustainable lifestyle.
