Parks and green spaces hub

Hounslow is proud to be one of the greenest boroughs in London, with over 160 parks and open spaces managed by our Parks team and Lampton Services Greenspace. These areas are vital for the community, providing places to relax, play, and enjoy nature. Our parks also serve as important hubs for health, wellbeing, and wildlife conservation. We work closely with local groups and charities to keep improving these spaces and make sure they are welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

To bring our green spaces even closer to you, we’ve created the Let’s Talk Hounslow Parks Hub. This online platform allows residents to share their views on park consultations, learn about upcoming improvements, and get involved in exciting new projects. Whether you want to comment on a specific plan or find out how you can participate in local initiatives, the Parks Hub makes it easy to stay connected and engaged with Hounslow’s beautiful open spaces.

Net-Zero Hub

In 2019, Hounslow Council declared a Climate Emergency, committing to making the borough greener, cleaner, and healthier. The following year, the Climate Emergency Action Plan was introduced, outlining over 100 actions aimed at achieving net-zero carbon by 2030. This plan includes key initiatives like improving energy efficiency in council buildings, transitioning to electric vehicles, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable travel. The Council is also working with businesses, schools, and the wider community to reduce carbon emissions across Hounslow and support the shift to a more sustainable lifestyle.

The Net-Zero Hub is your gateway to staying informed and getting involved in Hounslow's journey to net-zero. Whether you're a resident, business owner, or student, the Hub offers a range of opportunities to participate in projects, events, and initiatives that support our climate goals. From learning about upcoming green projects to finding ways you can contribute to a more sustainable Hounslow, the Hub is the place to connect with the Council’s efforts to tackle climate change and build a greener future for everyone.
