Today is a reminder that sadly the crisis of homelessness is far from being over. With many people facing the challenges of cost-of-living and the added pressures of winter months on individuals and families, it’s important we put a spotlight on the crisis of homelessness and the ways we can help to prevent it.
Homelessness can happen to anyone. Early identification can prevent homelessness.
If you or someone you know is struggling, there are ways to get help and advice from council services.
Have you spotted someone sleeping rough on the streets? let us know via StreetLink. If the person you are concerned about is under 18, please call the police in the first instance.
As a society we can help stop homelessness before it starts and help to create a borough where everyone has a place to call home.
