The Leader of Hounslow Council, Councillor Shantanu Rajawat said:
“I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear about this tragic incident and the death of one of our Council tenants yesterday in Brentford.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Ali’s family during this difficult time.
“We are working with the London Fire Brigade to provide any assistance.”
