Cllr Shantanu Rajawat and Councillor Ajmer Grewal have issued a joint statement following the incident in Bedfont this week

Councillor Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, and Councillor Ajmer Grewal, Cabinet Member for Safety and Regulatory Services said:
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of a resident in the Bedfont ward. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to their family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
“The Metropolitan Police have made an arrest and have confirmed that they are not currently seeking anybody else in connection with the incident. We’d like to thank the police and other emergency services for their work and the Council will continue to provide support throughout the investigation.
“We ask that residents respect the investigation and refrain from spreading or sharing speculation about the causes, out of respect, and in the light of an active police investigation.
