Freezing weather in Hounslow means that anyone sleeping rough will be offered emergency shelter.

Temperatures in Hounslow are expected to fall below freezing over the next few days.
The Mayor of London has activated a Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) to protect people who are sleeping rough in the borough.
This means that emergency accommodation is now available to make sure that people can be brought off the streets and away from the cold.
Hounslow Council’s Rough Sleeper Outreach Team will be out during the day to identify anyone who is sleeping rough and to encourage them to come inside to a warm, safe place.
Rough sleepers will also be offered ongoing support as part of this process to help them come off the streets for good.
Extreme weather conditions can pose a threat to the life of anyone who is sleeping on the streets.
