Eligible children can attend four sessions from and enjoy a free, nutritious meal every day. Children who are fasting for Ramadan are encouraged to attend, and each provision will be able to adapt to the child’s needs.
Councillor Lily Bath, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment, said:
We encourage all the eligible children and young people in the borough to take part in the upcoming HAF programme, where they can try and learn new things, meet friends and enjoy nutritious meals.
With a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, our children and young people can remain active while they are out of school, which is very important for their physical and mental health.
