Hounslow Council is promoting the borough as a major investment destination at a special UK regeneration conference.

The Council will showcase its major growth opportunities at the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) 2024, held from May 21 to 23 in Leeds.
This year's event will feature the Council and its key partners discussing unique opportunities for investment, sustainable development, and community-focused regeneration in the borough.
Championing the Council’s Opportunity Hounslow prospectus launched at MIPIM earlier this year, the Leader of the Council, Cllr Shantanu Rajawat along with Cllr Tom Bruce, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development are leading a delegation to highlight the borough's investment potential.
Aiming to catalyse regeneration and economic growth, the delegation will promote Hounslow as London's "Gateway to the World," spotlighting its vibrant sectors like media, technology, and logistics, and its strategic location with unparalleled connectivity with direct access to Heathrow Airport and the M4/A4 corridor.

Cllr Shantanu Rajawat said: “Hounslow is at UKREiiF with a desire for growth through partnership working to improve places and lives for people in Hounslow. We are excited to present our borough’s opportunities to potential investors and partners and to share the great work already being done by our partners.”
Cllr Tom Bruce added, “Estate regeneration is essential to our residents and the future of our place. We are eager to discuss with investors and developers how to navigate the challenges and deliver high-quality neighbourhoods that support better lives.
“The Council remains committed to collaborating with developers to create vibrant, sustainable communities that benefit our residents. It will be great to see some of our partners at UKREiif, as we continue to work together to drive growth and deliver high-quality developments. This ongoing collaboration is essential for achieving our shared vision of a prosperous and inclusive Hounslow.”
Tom Pocock, Managing Director, Berkeley St Edward London, said: “Berkeley Group sees Hounslow as a highly investible borough, in no small part because the Council understands what we need in terms of clarity, continuity and certainty and strives to provide it. We have a long-standing partnership and are delighted to work alongside the Council at UKREiif to spread that message and help them attract more investment to the borough.”
Andrew Geldard, chief communications officer, Willmott Dixon, said: “UKREiiF is a great platform for Hounslow to tell its story, to show what an exciting place it is for new investment and future opportunity. Working with Willmott Dixon - a long-term partner of Hounslow – I‘ve been involved in some tremendous projects over the past decade in the borough, from Brentford FC’s stadium to important new housing and healthcare facilities. I’ve seen first-hand the tremendous ambition among the council team for Hounslow to grow, develop, and be the destination of choice for people and business, a place that is very much ‘open for business’ when it comes to working with third parties to realise its ambitions. I’m looking forward to supporting this message at UKREiiF as an opportunity to underline Hounslow’s fantastic future potential to the rest of the UK.”
