We are modernising and making it quicker for you to access the services you need. This week, we launched a new web chat pilot for Recycling and Rubbish services. This web chat feature aims to make it easier for residents to access the support they need in real time. Whether you need to request new bins, report missed collections, or simply have questions, our live agents will be standing by to assist you during working hours, without the need to leave the website. This pilot project is designed to support digitally less confident residents and will offer real-time language translation to ensure inclusivity.  

The pilot will run for 6 weeks and will initially focus on services related to Recycling and Rubbish. These services were chosen due to being some of our most used online submissions.  

We are committed to enhancing our residents' experience, and this web chat pilot is just the beginning of more digital solutions and an improved website coming this year. This represents a step towards more accessible and efficient delivery of services for all residents. Stay tuned for more exciting improvements to come.
