Brentford Football Club has hosted the Finding Futures event at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Brentford Football Club, a member of the Youth, Skills, and Employment Guarantee’s (YSEG) Opportunities Alliance, has hosted the Finding Futures event at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The event was co-designed by the alliance and aimed to connect local young people – specifically from Years 11 & 12 - to YSEG partners Marriot Hotels, Sky and Hounslow Council in addition to Brentford FC and their Community Sports Trust.
All organisations presented sessions designed to broaden aspirations and make over 100 young people more aware of career opportunities in Hounslow. The Council’s own Work Hounslow team, including career advisors, were able to offer live advice along with the careers team and partners from Marriot, Sky and the host football club.
Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills, and Employment at Hounslow Council, said:
“This event is the first of many bespoke events designed to inspire our young people about not only what’s on offer in the borough, but how they can begin navigating their career path of choice.”
Hounslow Council launched the Youth Skills and Employment Guarantee (YSEG) last summer to power future growth within the borough. Partnership working is key to its success and the Opportunities Alliance also includes Heathrow and JC Decaux plus education providers University of West London and West Thames College.
