Hounslow Council is proud to announce the completion of Tintern, Sonnet, and Hamlet houses formerly known as Block D in Brentford, transforming lives by providing much-needed homes that strengthen local communities.
Nadia Ghose, a mum of five who recently moved into Tintern House, shared, “We’re thrilled with our new home. The space is beautiful, and we feel part of an exciting, growing community. It is very convenient as I am close to the GP, my children’s school, local shops, and public transport. I also have good friends here, and there is lots to do for my children.”
This development, located on Brentford High Street, delivers 96 high-quality, sustainable homes, helping to foster inclusive and diverse communities. It reflects Hounslow’s pledge to provide environmentally efficient housing, achieved in partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA). With energy-efficient features such as rooftop solar panels and smart home technologies, the development ensures both comfort and affordability for residents.
Designed with pedestrian-friendly connections and integrated commercial spaces, the project supports the council’s long-term vision for Brentford's regeneration and growth. A secure podium garden and play area further foster community connections, promoting outdoor enjoyment for all residents.

We are delivering on our bold pledge to provide high-quality, sustainable council homes for local people. This project aligns with the Brentford Town Centre Masterplan 2024, which outlines our vision for a vibrant, connected community that supports regeneration and growth. Working closely with the GLA, we’ve created homes that reflect the needs of our residents and I would like to say a huge thank you to them for supporting us in delivering on this vision.
