Details of Remembrance Sunday services in Hounslow.

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
This year, there are a number of services across the borough which you will find listed below.

Party to meet at the Chiswick Memorial Club, Bourne Place Chiswick W4 2EL from 10:00 am for the parade which will leave the Club at 10:40 am. The Parade will take place between Chiswick Memorial Club and the Chiswick Town centre cenotaph.

10:00 am Meet at Territorial Army, junction Vicarage Farm Road & New Heston Road 10:07 am Parade will leave Territorial Army Centre to St Leonard’s Church 10.20 am Parade arrives at St Leonard’s Church 10.45 am Service will start at the church followed by the laying of wreaths at the memorial. For anyone not joining the parade you will need to be at the church for 10.30 am 11:45 am approx. Parade will return back to the Territorial Army Centre |

Hounslow

Meet at Hounslow station, just along from the Hounslow British Legion for 9.30am for a 10am parade. Route is by the way of Whitton Road. The parade will turn right out of Hounslow train station into Whitton Road, turn right onto Hanworth Road, left into Douglas Road (behind the Treaty centre), left onto Hounslow High Street up to Trinity Church (passing McDonalds’s). The parade back to the legion after the service will be down Bell Road straight across into Hanworth Terrace around to Whitton Road to outside the legion.
