The Mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow, Councillor Karen Smith, attended services at the Holy Trinity Church and at the War Memorial on Feltham Green, Sunday 10 November. She joined others in remembering those who died in World Wars and other conflicts.

Councillor Karen Smith was joined by Deputy Lieutenant, Rosi Prescott and The Leader of the Council, Councillor Shantanu Rajawat. All laid wreaths at the services and joined others in remembering the sacrifice of the Armed Forces community and people lost to and touched by war.

Those gathered joined ceremonies across the UK, and around the world, in holding a two minutes' silence at 11am.
Cllr Karen Smith said:
“Remembrance Sunday invites people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to remember in their own way. We were joined by local people and community leaders at our commemorative events. As well as all those who took a moment to pause and reflect, in neighbourhoods around the borough.”
