Hounslow Council’s jobs site has recently undergone an upgrade to make it easier to use.

Work Hounslow - the Council’s Skills and Employment has refreshed its site - with an improved layout and enhanced functionality for employers and residents.
The upgraded website enhances the experience for residents accessing skills and employment opportunities in the borough. Residents can register on the website to connect with the Council’s employment advisors to receive free career information, advice and guidance. Once registered, they can log into their dashboard to upload CVs and apply for one or more available opportunities. They can also keep track their applications and receive personalised email updates on new opportunities that match their preferences.
Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment at Hounslow Council, said:
‘With the Council recently hosting a job fair for women and marking Living Wage week, I can’t think of a better time to relaunch our jobs site. This website refresh is part of our wider plans to empower residents to access good jobs that pay the London Living Wage, as well as opportunities for training, volunteering and apprenticeships. We want to ensure that every resident can thrive in our borough. I encourage both employers and residents to get in touch with the Work Hounslow team to learn more about the services and support we offer.’
A new employers’ section has also been developed, providing updated information on how the Council can support local businesses. This includes advice on recruitment; guidance on growing an inclusive and diverse workplace; becoming a London Living Wage employer; apprenticeships and the apprenticeship levy; training opportunities and social values.
