The Brentford East and Syon & Brentford Lock ward by-elections are taking place on Thursday, 6 March.
Published: Monday, 3rd March 2025

The polling stations in these wards are accessible and managed by friendly staff who are ready to help.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm, and voters must bring photo ID when voting in person. Accepted forms of photo ID include a passport, driving licence, Blue Badge and Older Person’s bus pass. Further detail on accepted forms of ID can be found on the Electoral Commission website.
Voters can still use approved photo ID if it has expired, so long as the photo still looks like them. Although digital copies will not be accepted.
People living in Brentford East and Syon and Brentford Lock, who are on the Electoral Register, should have received a poll card confirming the details of their polling station. There is no requirement to bring a poll card to vote, however it will speed up the process. Voters can also find their local polling station at: https://wheredoivote.co.uk/
