On National Primary Offer Day, 88 per cent of Hounslow children received their first choice of school to start their school journey in September.
Published: Wednesday, 16th April 2025

The figures were released by the Pan London Admission Board, responsible for the coordination of school admissions across London, on Wednesday 16 April, and show an increase for first choice offers in Hounslow.
The data for Hounslow reveals:
- 88 per cent of families were offered their first choice of school.
- 96 per cent were offered one of their top three schools.
- 98 per cent were offered a place at one of their six preferred schools.
Families will receive an email with the results of their application after 5pm on Wednesday 16 April. They need to accept their child’s offer using the national online EAdmissions portal by Wednesday, 30 April. After this date it won’t be possible to respond online.
Families that were not offered their first choice of school will also be sent a letter, explaining their options and next steps.
Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment at Hounslow Council, said:
“In Hounslow, we are naturally proud that 96% of our primary schools are recognised by Ofsted as either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ so I am thrilled for the families and students who have secured a school place for this September.
“Our primary schools remain a provider of foundational learning for children across the borough”
