Temporary Street Trading Licence Application

  • All applicants should provide proof of identity – a copy of passport, driver's license photo card,(other official ID cards with a photo & a copy of a recent utility bill (this will meet the money laundering requirements and the council undertaking due diligence.
  • All applicants MUST submit an accurately drawn plan to the scale of 1:2500 of the area to be applied for. (alternative sized plans may be accepted subject to prior agreement with the licensing manager)
  • All applicants MUST submit photographs for the area to be applied for.
  • All applicants MUST check with the planning team if planning consent is required prior to submission of an application
  • If you are applying for a tables and chairs licence there will be a 7-day consultation and then a decision will be made if the licence can be granted. Once granted, you will be contacted for the licence fee payment. A Pavement Cafe licence lasts for a 6-month period.
  • If using the eform to apply for an ‘A’ board or Shop front display there will be a 28-day consultation and then a decision will be made if the licence can be granted. Once granted, you will be contacted for the licence fee payment. A Pavement Cafe licence lasts for a 6-month period.
  • When completing this form please be advised that pages left idle will expire after 10 minutes.
